The Diner Out of Time

The Game

The Diner Out of Time is a science fiction solo roleplaying game where you journal the experiences of someone working at a diner that is in its own plane of existence. You, like the others who end up at The Diner, have found yourself here while fleeing your past.

The Diner has what can only be described as the most eclectic clientele in the entire universe given that they come from across all of space and time, each person in their own way looking for a form of refuge before they return to wherever it is they came from.

Meet your colleagues and get to know the customers of The Diner until you feel ready to return and face what you left behind and take that final step through the diner's door.

How to play

All you need to play is 1 ten sided die (1d10), or an ace to a ten from a pack of cards, and a method to journal your game such as a notebook. You will play through the different phases of the game using the prompts and tables to inspire your imagination about what happens. You can play for as long as you like until you make the decision for your character to leave The Diner.
